Here we created a model for the company Light Field Lab founded in 2016. The purpose of the model is to help convey what a futuristic 360 virtual stage would resemble. The model does not require any headpiece and is simple to use. The circular like layers make our eyes to shift from layer to later, giving an aesthetically pleasing look. If you look closely you can see the model also has small white monochromatic humans sitting as an audience. Each model that we create is unique and customized for our clients. Ranging anywhere from color, size and detail!
Have you seen what we can do with just a simple idea and a photograph? We have created a model and animation of The Fox Theater located in Hays, KS. Here you can see the interior and exterior of the model, as well as some actual images of what The Fox Theater looked like. The Fox Theater was previously a movie theater, that later held concerts. The Fox Theater has recently changed owners and is now called The Uptown Fox, which has become a restaurant and a lounge area. The historic building has been useful for the community for years.

These pictures were taken before the renovation of The Uptown Fox. As you can see we have created images and models that are similar in looks
History-James Butler Hickok also known as “Wild Bill” Hickok was sheriff in Hays, Kansas during the Wild and Wooly 1860’s. A life size statue was placed in Hays in honor of his duties. The original sculpture was done by Pete Felten. Felten is a famous local artist who has created dozens of sculptures in the Hays community and region. The life-size limestone Wild Bill Hickok Memorial Statue is located on the southeast corner of Main Street and 10th Street. This is also the same area where the famous gun fights occurred, usually resulting in a burial in our Boot Hill.
We Want More-Doug Williams, executive director of Grow Hays recently contacted Global 3D Arts stating that, the mold for the statue broke roughly 20 years ago and no more replicas have been made.
Finished Products-Here we have created replicas of Wild Bill. The Scanning process takes 24 hours and 3D printing takes about half as long. The small models will be painted gray to give them the rustic statue look. It’s amazing what new technology can do to keep the old history of Hays, Kansas, alive.
You have purchased your model; you have it placed in your office or home. Recently you have taken the model out and it has collected some dirt over the years.
Here are some hacks we have figured work best for a model to still look brand new. If you have a tiny shop vacuum they will be fairly useful for cleaning. If you do not and do not want to purchase one we recommend the following options!
These are all smaller items and can be made specifically for cleaning a model. The best option is a brush. We prefer you use a paint brush;the bristles are soft and smooth. This is so any dust that isn’t loose gets deep down in other areas where it can be hard to get to. Next is compressed air that is often used in an office setting. This gets even smaller spaces a brush can’t get through. You must be careful when using compressed air because it could move some landscaping or foliage that isn’t placed properly. Once the dust is good and gone up next is liquid cleaners. Some chemicals can affect the paint or plastic of a model. Soap and water does the trick. Apply to a wash cloth and remove any excess dirt. Then let the model air-dry and your model will look as if it came straight from the shipping box. We also recommend the models to be cleaned monthly if at all possible.
